Niddry Castle is a Listed Building. Here's what the official description says about it:

c.1500. Oblong keep with jamb 4 storeys. Coursed rubble.
Roofless. Corbelled parapet (mostly gone) with angle
rounds. Another storey (flush with parapet) and a
turret in re-entrant angle were added in 17th cent.
Interior (now inaccessible): Vaulted 1st storey.
(dungeon in jamb). Hall in 2nd storey of main block.
